The only downside I can think of is that taxis can’t drop you at the hotel door because vehicles aren’t allowed on the Heritage Walk. You can contact the hotel staff before you arrive, though, and they’ll help bring your bags from the taxi drop point. Ask your driver to leave you outside the Post Office near Heritage Walk. The location is ideal, within an easy walk of the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and the Partition Museum. The reception staff are all exceptionally kind and helpful. They’ll do what they reasonably can to sort out questions and requests. Highly recommended!

Mr. Sunny Singh, the driver, made getting around the city easy and enjoyable. He was especially helpful and polite, and his local knowledge and friendly manner really added to our trip. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, always going above and beyond to make us comfortable. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amritsar!

I loved the place and the people. Mr. Sunny, the taxi man, took us around the locations and was such a nice person. The GM, Mr. Gurpreet Singh, was warm, humble and friendly with guests. The staff and location are great, especially since it’s very near the Golden Temple, an easy walk away. Best hotel. You must stay there.

The window looked out onto a lovely road in the part of the city that never sleeps, and the hotel is just 20 stps from The Golden Temple. We had two daughters with us and felt no safety concerns. The front desk and other staff were wonderfully polite, and Gurmeet did a good job with room service. The staff gave us unbiased opinions and great guidance around the city. I didn’t have a single problem, big or small. One of my best experiences. God bless the hotel staff.

The breakfast had a good choice, and Reshma and Alka at reception were especially helpful. The staff were attentive, polite and knowledgeable, and responded to all our requests. Our room was clean and spacious, and the location couldn’t be better, just a stone’s throw from the Golden Temple. We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend it, and would definitely come again. Thank you Surestay.
