The spice garden tour was a real treat for our family. We learned about different spices, how they're grown, and what they're used for, and enjoyed the experience. Their shop also has high-quality spices at reasonable prices, and we were happy with what we bought. The owners were warm, polite, understanding, and always ready to help, which made us feel at home. Thekkady Homes was clean and well maintained, with a calm atmosphere that suited a family holiday. One of the best family homestays in Thekkady, in our experience. We'd happily visit again and recommend it for comfort, hospitality, and a local experience.

We enjoyed a peaceful walk in the spice garden right behind Thekkady Homes. The rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable, and Reena chechi and santhoshettan were always available and helpful. Our host made us feel at home, too. It was handy that food could be ordered through the property, and the connected shop sells good-quality spices. A very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

Santhosh Sir and Reena Ma’am took such warm, friendly care of us that we felt at home. We especially enjoyed a peaceful walk through the spice plantation at this beautiful homestay, surrounded by its own garden. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and well kept, with a kettle and basic kitchen items available. It was a calm, refreshing place for a family trip, and we'd highly recommend it.

The hosts, a welcoming husband-and-wife pair, made our stay feel special with their hospitality. Their spice garden was a lovely feature, and the spice shop is well worth a visit if you stay here. Booking directly gets you jeep rides and cultural programs for about 20% less than local rates, with pickup and drop-off right at the homestay. You can also get Ayurvedic medicines and spices from their garden and farm, which means good quality. I stayed in both a single room and a family room, and each was clean, spacious, and well maintained. Thekkady Homes has a friendly, comfortable atmosphere and good prices across the board. A great pick for a complete Thekkady visit.
