I come back to EverShine Guest House every year with friends, often on long weekends or around Christmas and New Year. It’s become one of my favorite places to stay in Goa, and Anjuna beach is only a few kilometers away. It’s a quiet spot away from traffic, with free Wi-Fi, AC and non-AC rooms, nearby restaurants, CCTV in key areas, and help arranging a bike or car rental. The owner is friendly and welcomes feedback. Booking ahead can get you a better rate, and beaches like Vagator, Calangute, and Baga are nearby. It’s a little tucked away from the main areas, which I see as a plus because there’s less noise. A few expectations seem worth keeping in mind: this is a guest house, not a five-star hotel, and the price is reasonable. Solar-heated water can take a while to warm up when it’s cloudy. The Wi-Fi can be unstable, but it’s free. I haven’t found the owner rude; in my experience, he’s careful about guest safety. And I come to Goa for the scenery, not the TV. I work in Bangalore, and this place feels like a second home when I’m in Goa. I’d recommend trying it if you want a comfortable stay.

We found the location especially good, and the place felt very safe. The rooms are affordable and have the basics, while the staff are warm and helpful. Their solar heater wasn’t working during our visit, but they brought us boiling water when we asked. They can also arrange a rental bike or a cab to the airport or station. A great stay.

The rooms sit back from the road among palm trees and birds, so it’s a really peaceful setting. I felt welcome throughout my stay, thanks to the family who run the guest house and put so much care and patience into looking after people. They were helpful whenever I needed anything, and the price is the best in the area.

We look for smaller, charming places on our trips instead of big international chains, and after staying at plenty of similar hotels, Evershine is easily our best choice so far. The owners are lovely and welcoming, and the service was quick. You can see the care they put into every part of the interiors and grounds. Our room was spotless and roomy enough to feel comfortable even on a longer stay. The property is close to the beach but stays quiet, which worked well for time with family and friends. Thank you, Evershine, for making our days so lovely 😊😍😎😁. I’d recommend a long stay here to anyone visiting Goa.

For a solo trip, a couple, family, or group, this is a very affordable North Goa guest house with a homelike feel. Breakfast is free, rooms are cleaned daily, and they can arrange airport pickup and drop-off by taxi. They’ll point you toward nearby beaches and places to visit, and can provide a car or scooter at a low price. I got a scooter for 300 rupees a day. The owner is friendly and also has Sky king Restaurant near to vagator beach. He even got me food at 3am. I had an amazing experience and recommend it. Don’t pay too much for an overpriced hotel.
