Passions de Goa

The rooms were spacious and had two balconies looking out onto a peaceful view, which made it easy to unwind. Marshal, the dog, gave the place a warm, homely feel when we arrived. We enjoyed the food too, especially the pasta, paneer, roti, and juices. Prices seemed moderate for North Goa. They provide 2 liters of water each day, but none on checkout day, and paying ₹30 for drinking water felt unnecessary. Service was just okay, neither especially good nor bad. A pleasant spot for a stay or a meal.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the place was clean and peaceful. I really liked the aesthetic and the food. A very nice stay, highly recommend.

The rooms were clean and hygienic, but the location made getting around difficult. It’s tucked away at the far end of a secluded area, and after sunset the streets were completely dark and empty, with stray dogs barking nearby. Cab drivers also struggled to find the hotel on the map. When the cafe was closed because of an LPG shortage, I asked the receptionist about nearby places to eat. She said she didn’t know and suggested ordering from Zomato. As a local, she could have helped point guests in the right direction. Her manner was rude and lacked basic hospitality. German cafe nearby was a bright spot, with good food and a nice vibe. The Wi-Fi was the worst part: there were 5-6 routers, and none of them worked.

As usual, I had a very pleasant stay. Clean rooms and washrooms are a must for me, and both were spotless. The pool and room service were good additions, and some of the dishes were really delicious.
