I stayed for 6 days and had a good time, with friendly staff and a clean hostel. I didn’t run into any problems. Just remember that you have to submit your passport at check-in, even if you’re Indian. The team calls to explain the passport requirement when you book.

This hostel is a blast, with great people and a party every night. It’s easy to meet others, so it’s ideal for solo travellers, though not if you want a quiet stay. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was free with freshly cooked eggs. Anjuna Beach is only a short walk away. The prison theme and mug shots at the entrance are fun, but it can get in the way of practical things sometimes. The bars on the windows felt like a bit much.

Even in low season there was a good group of travellers hanging out, and the crowd was great. I stayed in a very clean 10 person, non-AC dorm. The fans kept it comfortable enough to sleep at night.

I stayed two nights and loved the place. For 400 rupees for a normal room, or 450 for AC, it’s affordable for backpackers and breakfast is included. There are some snacks available at night when everything else is closed, but you have to pay and they’re a little expensive. The staff are friendly, and there are no restrictions on anything. By the way, you need a passport to stay here. No other ID works.

One of the coolest hostels I’ve stayed in, with a great atmosphere, people, and staff, and excellent value. Sleeping off a hangover wasn’t the most comfortable, but if you get a bed under a fan, you’re golden!
