Purple Orchid Resort Anjuna

I stayed for a week and found the hotel pleasant inside, with polite, helpful staff who can suggest day plans and let you know where that night's parties are happening. It's within reach of Anjuna Beach, Vagator, and Shiva's Face beach. There's also a CCD, a family-mart, and several nice restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is described as 3-star on booking sites. I only had the complimentary breakfast, which was good, though there weren't many vegan choices. The advertised live bar wasn't operating, and the pool felt more like a children's pool. They kindly let me check out late at no extra cost, which helped since my departure was late at night. Overall, a nice stay.

The staff were courteous, especially Sapna at reception, and the tea and breakfast were good. We stayed three days at this recently renovated, clean resort, about 2 km from Anjuna Beach and near Baga Beach. The room was a good size, and the stay felt worth what we paid. The pool was on the small side, but the water was clean.

The room had plenty of space, with an attached hall and a balcony. The bathroom was clean and had a shower, mirror, and hair dryer. We needed to add a night to our trip, and the extra mattress and blanket were provided. The rate was ₹5,000 for that night, which felt very high, though it was December 31. Anjuna Beach is about 2.5 km away, an easy trip if you have a vehicle. Recommended.

We had a lovely time with the family, and the clean rooms and pool were well looked after. Service was consistently good whenever we needed something. My one concern was that no senior staff member was around at night. If something went wrong, I wasn't sure the junior staff would be able to make decisions.
