Getting the bill was frustrating. I signalled one server, who sent someone else over, then went to the wrong table and joked around instead of coming to us. Most of the servers were just sitting around. I was so annoyed that I had to find the manager, tell him what I'd ordered, pay and leave. A few servers finally came over as I was heading out.

Nisha, the manager, was especially welcoming and professional, and made guests feel at home. The ambience was pleasant, clean and well maintained, and access was convenient. I had a wonderful visit and would recommend the place for comfortable accommodation and good service.

We stopped for a quick snack while walking around Anjuna beach. The view is lovely and the food tasted good, but both dishes arrived completely cold, not even lukewarm. We told the server, who said the kitchen was far away and the food got cold on the way, which seemed ridiculous since it isn't that far. I can understand this happening occasionally, but both plates were cold. My guess is they sit too long after being cooked. The kitchen needs to manage orders better.

The location is great, but the receptionist was extremely unprofessional. We arrived at 12:30 pm, half an hour before the 1 pm check-in, and could see from the restaurant that our room was empty and ready. She still made us wait until after 1 pm to get it. The listing said early check-in and checkout were available, but she made sure we didn't get either.
