The air conditioning didn’t work, and it was fixed at an uncomfortable 26 degrees. When we asked for a remote to adjust it, the staff said none was available. The fridge was filthy and smelled awful, with cockroaches inside. We also found stains on the sheets and pillow cover, and the bathroom floor was so dirty the tile color was barely visible. The toilet and washroom were terribly unclean, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The wash basin and plastic hanging mirror were awkwardly placed, so washing my face or brushing my teeth got water everywhere. Don’t be taken in by the photos or the beach hotel/resort label: this is just a building away from the beach, and getting there is difficult. I strongly advise choosing somewhere else.

Red Rock Arambol Beach is a budget-friendly guesthouse just steps from Arambol Beach in Goa. There are cleanliness problems, and the AC is unreliable. If modern facilities and more comfort matter to you, you may want to look elsewhere.

The beach is right next door, with bars, shops and restaurants all easy to reach. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the manager and staff were friendly, helpful and reliable. For this price group, the hotel is much better than average. Street life and music could bother some people.

We were so glad to find an affordable hotel right by the beach, and the location was perfect. From our balcony we could see and hear the waves. The room was simple and clean, and the price was cheap. Sudhanshu was really friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The location is superb, right beside the best beach bars and restaurants, and we had a lovely view of the beach from our balcony. The staff were lovely and accommodating, kept the place tidy each day, and were nice to chat with. Our spacious room had good basics, including bedding, towels, soap, AC and a fan, fridge, table and closet. It’s very affordable and worth a stay. I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable visit.
