IVON Guest House Arambol

A very affordable stay, and just a two-minute walk from Arambol beach. The food is good too, so do try the pizzas at Ivon's restaurant.

We loved our stay at Ivon’s. The rooms are basic but clean, and the fan helped. There was also a small balcony where we could sit and read when it got too hot. The beach is right beside the place, so we could go down at sunrise or sunset, and there are lots of other restaurants nearby as well as their own. The staff gave us a lovely welcome. They were helpful whenever we needed them, while still giving us space. We’ll absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Arambol.

The guest house is only a two-minute walk from the beach, and they also rent out bikes. But the rooms are very small, there’s no daily cleaning, and neither hot water nor drinking water is provided. The roads are very muddy, which makes it hard to reach in a car, and there are no street lights for nearly a kilometer. I wouldn’t choose it for a family trip.

This is my fifth time booking here. The sea-facing rooms have beautiful sunsets, and there are often lots of Russian guests around. Check out the fully furnished apartments too, and don’t miss the in-house restaurant. The food is great.
