Nazri The Verda Hotel, Arambol

I had a decent stay overall, but laundry being unavailable was inconvenient. The hotel listing says laundry services are available, and I chose the place partly because of the amenities shown online. When I asked, staff said there was no laundry service and couldn’t arrange it even for a fee. The hotel should either update the listing to match the actual facilities or provide the services it promises. Being transparent would help guests know what to expect.

On December 9 at about 5 p.m., we spotted a restaurant and swimming pool from the street and ordered food. While we waited, I decided to swim. The bartender said that was allowed, but the restaurant manager told me to check at reception. There, we were told pool use cost 300 rupees per person for three hours. I paid 300 rupees and asked for a receipt, but they didn’t give me one. They said they’d call the restaurant to let them know. Nothing indicated that people coming to eat had to pay separately to use the pool. From the street it looks like you can visit a restaurant with a swimming pool. If there’s a 300 rupees charge to swim, that should be written on the rules sign by the pool so people know. The food was tasteless and the chicken was tough. We ended up paying for food we didn’t eat, paying for the pool, and leaving.

Sandeep really helped us sort out our car battery issue, and his support made a difference. The rooms were clean, the location was peaceful and very close to Arambol Beach, and the food quality was excellent. Staff were polite and helpful too. Great value for money, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arambol beach is within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean, the service staff are very friendly, and the swimming pool is huge and clean. The breakfast buffet was quite healthy.
