Riviera Foothills Apartments

The nearby food choices were good, and Baga and Calangute beaches are close. Still, our three nights at Riviera Foothills, Arpora were a miserable experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The room came without toiletries or even tea powder and sugar. The pool looked damaged and unsafe, but there were still a lot of rules. The woman monitoring it was aggressive, demanded penalty money without a valid reason, and spoke rudely to a security guard who was trying to explain things. At night, the management cut our electricity, saying we’d broken a pool rule. We asked them several times to check the CCTV before doing that, but they wouldn’t listen. We had followed their instructions, yet they treated us unfairly. We’d already paid a lot, and with both power and water cut off, it felt like they were trying to force more money out of us. The whole thing felt like extortion and harassment and ruined our vacation. Groups looking to spend time with friends should avoid this place.

Baga and Calangute are nearby, and there are dining options right outside. That was about the only upside to our three-day stay at Riviera Foothills, Arpora, in Apartments 1204 & 2102. There’s plenty to do without leaving the property, from the pool and clubhouse to the gym and a lovely garden. It’s also close to the main tourist spots and famous North Goa beaches, about a 5-7 minute drive away. The area around it has a lively nightlife too.

The pool was nicely kept, and the place itself felt cozy, clean, and comfortable, just like the photos. It’s also easy to get to the city’s main spots from here. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it for a convenient, comfortable getaway.
