Hotel Amrita by OYO Rooms

The biggest frustration was the WiFi. It worked, but the signal didn't reach my room, so in the hot weather I had to step outside whenever I wanted to use the free internet. I also had a frustrating mix-up with OYO's customer executive: I asked for the hotel's phone number for my check-in arrangements, but they sent directions instead and said they'd sent the number. The room itself was clean, and the service and staff's friendly manner were good. For one night in a single room, the AC deal through OYO fit my budget, and taking everything into account, the stay was okay. Still, those problems left me disappointed with OYO's service.

You can get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food here, along with Bengali sweets in all sorts of flavors. Amrita has Hotel Amrita for lodging, the restaurant Sudha Amrit, and the sweets shop Amrito. The hospitality is good.

It's very close to Asansol bus Stand, so the location is good. The building looks old but is kept up well, and I found the hospitality good. Staff behavior and service were satisfactory.

The restaurant's style really made an impression on me, almost like eating in a 7 star hotel. The food was delicious too, and I still remember that butter chicken. It's a good hotel in a good location.
