Amadi Beach Front Resort

We paid a premium for three days and booked seven rooms, but the facilities and service were far below what we expected. Staff were rude and uncooperative throughout, while the food was poor in both taste and presentation. The pool looked unhygienic and wasn't properly maintained. There were basic problems in the rooms too. Our towels smelled unpleasant, and the washroom taps kept stopping, so we had to ask staff repeatedly to fix the water supply. The lawn also lacked the sit-out arrangements shown in the promotional photos. The café had little lighting, atmosphere, or music, and didn't have the Goa beach-resort feel we expected. This was one of our worst resort stays. For the price, the experience was unacceptable. We wouldn't recommend it or stay here again.

The location made it easy to explore, and the staff were lovely, especially in the restaurant. We were almost the only British tourists during our 10 days, but everyone made us feel welcome. The food was great, and breakfast was delicious. We'd booked a De-Lux room, though what we got was very basic. We asked about it on arrival and were told a different room would cost another £40 a night, £400 for all 10 nights. I don't know whether that was a Booking.com mistake or the resort's, so we stayed put. I also needed two extra pillows and was charged 400rrps. They said extra bedding is normally charged. For taxis to Mandrem or Mourjim and nearby places, booking one from the road outside was 500rrps. The first day we asked reception to arrange one and were charged 1,100. Still, we had a great stay overall, and the staff were wonderful.

Rishek shivam and the front office team deserve a special thank you for being so kind and welcoming. Everyone at the hotel was polite and very helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained, the food was delicious, and service was excellent. A wonderful property that made our holiday memorable. Highelly recommended Amadi beach front resort.

Room service was prompt, and the staff were polite and well behaved, but the accommodation was a letdown. We got a room in a different building from the one shown in the pictures. It felt old and uninviting, and no other room was available, so we had to make do. At night there were rats around the room, with noises that made sleeping difficult. We called on the second day to ask for a room change, but management didn't give us a proper response or resolve it. The stay didn't meet our expectations.
