Blue Poppy Premier

The food was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a great place for a mountain break. Our room was clean and cozy, with stunning views, and the staff were so warm and helpful that everything went smoothly. We had a wonderful stay at Blue Poppy and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Auli or Joshimath.

We stayed for two nights, from 23 to 25 Feb 2026, and the hospitality and service were excellent. The staff were welcoming and humble at breakfast and dinner, and they suggested and served tasty pahadi food. Anuj, Ajay, Bijju, Dinesh, Harish, and the whole team helped make the stay memorable. The ambience was lovely, but it was the people who made it pleasant.

Blue Poppi ruined our holiday. I’d paid Mr. Kushal in advance for the rooms and a taxi, but when we arrived, he refused to refund even a rupee. Before booking he was all sweetness; once we got there, his attitude completely changed. The rooms are rundown, the food was sub-par, and the staff were rude and wouldn’t take requests. Dogs barked all night, so we couldn’t sleep. We ended up cutting the trip short. He’d also told us there would be snow for skiing, but that wasn’t true. When we challenged him, he argued, “What can I do? I am just helping you arrange it, it's not my job.” I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. A complete scam.

The restaurant had plenty of tasty choices, and the views from the beautifully designed rooms made every morning memorable. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the welcoming staff went out of their way to make everything feel just right. It was an ideal getaway, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.
