The Tattva

The staff were lovely, always smiling, caring, and ready to help. From the moment I arrived at Tattva Hotel in Joshimath, the team’s warmth made me feel at home. Sanjay negi, the manager, was especially kind and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was just right.

We had a panoramic mountain view from the sit out just outside our room, and the room itself was very comfortable, with all the standard amenities. The management kindly upgraded us from the regular rooms we’d booked. Pradeep and Sanjay were wonderfully warm and friendly, and the rest of the staff were helpful too. We couldn’t try the delicacies listed on the menu because of other commitments. I’d love to come back for a longer stay.

The surroundings are good, and the place has a comfortable feel. Tatva Resort has a nice ambience and a great location for a hilly area. Staff were courteous and polite, although at times I felt there weren’t enough of them and the service could fall short. The food quality was a letdown and could have been much better. Prices are a little high, though I understand that’s common in locations like this. Still, it was a decent place to stay and a good experience overall.

We’d stay here again if we return to Joshimath. The restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, with heaters and a nice mountain view. It’s at the end of Joshimath market, making the nearby area easy to reach.
