Hotel Grand Imperial

The rooms are large and tidy, and the bathroom is clean. The taps need tightening, but otherwise it's fine. The receptionist was very rude and quite unwilling to help with luggage; the owner should address how guests are treated. The listing included a water bottle and kettle, but neither was in the room. Hot water comes from solar only, so an early morning checkout means a cold bath.

I checked out after just 5-6 hours. Nothing looked like the pictures, and I'd call this a Sasta Lodge. The room was extremely unhygienic and the washrooms were awful. I booked a stay with breakfast through MMT. When I asked about it, they flatly denied breakfast; only after I started calling MMT did they offer Tapri wala Poha. It might suit couples looking for leisure, but not families. Beware if you're considering it.

The airport is right across from the hotel, which made the location really convenient. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. One of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in, and I'd definitely recommend it.

For an overnight wait before a flight, this place does the job. It's a small set of rooms, nothing especially luxurious, but they seemed fine and could be worth the price.
