I was here on an official visit to Waluj MIDC, and it worked as a comfortable, budget-friendly business stay, though the quoted prices felt high for the quality. The spacious campus and excellent location make for a pleasant atmosphere. My room was clean, maintained well, and a good size, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and ready to help. The food needs work. Breakfast choices were limited, some items seemed stale and unappetizing, and prices were quite high, possibly because there aren’t many dining options nearby. There were also only a few toiletries in the room.

Parking is available, and the staff were helpful and greeted us with a smile and welcome drink from check-in. The property is old and doesn’t feel as lavish as a three-star hotel should. We called several times about the missing hot water in the morning. They said they were working on it, but it never came. The amenities were disappointing, and the complimentary breakfast had very few items and wasn’t good. An average stay overall.

The food was delicious and healthy, made fresh to order, though a little expensive. The hotel is a bit far from the city, but I loved the stay. Reception was very hospitable, the rooms were neat, the beds clean, and there was secure car parking. They could cover the parking to protect cars from the scorching sun.

The front desk team were warm, welcoming, and made check-in comfortable. Dinner had plenty of options, but the taste was very average. Breakfast was a real disappointment: the donuts, croissants, cupcakes, and other English breakfast items were stale and inedible. Indian choices were only idli, vada pav, and sabudana vada, and even the idli portions were limited. The chutney was frozen, tasteless, and had no salt, so it was inedible too. For an old property, the price is high. Rooms and bathrooms are old-style, and cleanliness was only average, not what I expected for the cost. The hotel needs major improvement in food, cleanliness, and maintenance to justify its pricing.

With its highway location, Kailash Hotel is a practical option for travelers passing through, and there’s ample parking, which made arrival and departure easy. The rooms were adequate and comfortable for resting. The strict rule against outside food was a drawback because it limited dining choices. Overall, a convenient transit stay.
