Treebo Trend Varsha Palace

The best things here were the location and price. Everything else was mediocre. I booked two nights through the Treebo website, but was disappointed by the service. The rooms were okay and cleaned properly, though they didn't look like the photos online. Cleaning was late, and I had to ask multiple times for towels and water bottles. The AC had no remote, the telephone didn't work, and one booked room had no hot water. Breakfast came around 8.30 AM instead of the promised 7.30 AM. The in-room dining food was good, but sitting on the bed to eat was uncomfortable. They should provide a separate dining area for lunch and dinner. There's no proper car parking, so you'll have to find a street spot yourself, despite Treebo staff promising parking when I booked.

Being close to the city centre and Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga made getting around convenient, especially for temple visitors. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff polite, and the food decent. There are a few minor maintenance gaps, but things generally work as expected for a three-star stay. A good-value option for friends or families.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times, and nearly all the staff have been humble and polite. The older gentleman working reception during my visit was the exception: he was quite rude in both his manner and communication. That made for a disappointing first impression. The hotel could do better.

Hot water only came after I’d reluctantly run nearly five buckets through the tap. Reception had told me to discard two or three buckets first, so I ended up wasting even more water than that. The towels smelled awful, and garbage was lying on the floor outside the room. The room itself was filthy, with serious water leaks in the walls and paint in such bad shape that it looked like nobody had cleaned or visited in ages. Even writing this brings back how disgusting the stay felt. I’d give less than one star if Google allowed it.
