Hotel Shree Venkatesh Nilayam

The staff were very polite and offered support whenever needed. They don’t understand English, but it was easy enough to communicate with body language and a few words. The hotel can help with a vehicle or ride, and even took us in their own vehicle because cars can’t reach the property. It’s a two-minute walk from the nearest roadside drop-off, and we could order meals for delivery to our room. The cost is reasonable, and I highly recommend staying here. The building looks new and is still under construction. There’s tiled flooring, air conditioning, and a hot water system. They swept and mopped daily in the guests’ presence and changed the bed covers and washroom accessories every day. Our hotel rent included one pair of flip flops 🩴 and two bottles of water. Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir and Hanuman Ji Mandir are within walking distance, and Kanak Bhawban and other temples are very close.

The staff were polite and helpful, and made a big difference when we arrived: because barricades meant about a 350m walk from the drop-off point, they carried our luggage and took us to the pickup point at checkout. The food was fresh and very tasty. They seem to arrange delivery from outside, so it can take half an hour, but the food was homely. I loved the stay with my family. It’s a great hotel for families, close enough to walk to Hanuman garhi temple and Ram Mandir.

The staff were thoughtful and welcoming, and the hosts even let us park our car inside the hotel despite private cars being restricted within 3 km of the temple. The rooms were clean, and the location is hard to beat: Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and Dashrat Mahal are all within 1 km.

The rooms are on the small side, but clean and equipped with the amenities we needed. The hotel is close to Hanuman Garhi temple and Kanak mahal, though autorickshaws don't reach the door. The staff kindly collected us from the rickshaw point by car or bike, and room service was quick. They were also flexible about check-in and check-out times. Good value for this budget.
