I strongly don’t recommend this property. The room felt more like a storeroom than guest accommodation, with the owner’s folded carpet, cooler, and table taking up most of the space. We also had no attached bathroom and had to use a shared one, something the listing on Goibibo never disclosed when we booked. In the cold weather we used two extra blankets that were already in the bed drawer, but the owner scolded us the next morning for not asking first, saying they were “extra” and that the room had personal belongings in it. Guests shouldn’t have to seek permission to use basic items kept in their booked room. If a room has restrictions or isn’t fully available for guest use, that needs to be made clear before booking. This experience damaged my trust in the property and made me seriously reconsider using the platform again. One of my worst homestay experiences.
