Room 6 was very dirty, with rubbish left in an open area in the ceiling. When I raised it, the issue led to an argument with the manager, and I couldn’t understand why these problems seemed to be brushed aside. The guesthouse is right by the main Baddi road, so traffic noise carries on even at night. It felt almost like sleeping on the road, and I suspect this affects most rooms. The management should be aware of the noise and consider better windows and doors, ideally with soundproofing. The rates are low, but from my experience that seems to come at the expense of maintenance and guests having to put up with it. If hygiene and quiet matter to you, this isn’t the right place. I wouldn’t recommend it.
