The rooms we were first shown weren't ready. The third one we got had a dirty bedsheet, a torn blanket, and a bathroom geyser that didn't work. Curtains held up with clips looked very unprofessional, and the cleanliness and maintenance were poor overall. The hotel needs to raise its standards.

We'd booked a prepaid room through MMT, but on arrival the staff said there were no vacant rooms. They acted casually and unprofessionally, hadn't updated their inventory, and there was no way to get a refund. We had a very bad experience. Please don't visit this place.

The food quality was excellent, and service at Hotel Maurice was great. Highly recommend it!

Avoid room 101. The linens smelled bad, and the room felt like a basement. When you open the curtains, the main entrance stairs are right outside the windows. There was no power backup at night; they started the generator in the morning. Reception called then to ask us to have breakfast earlier because they didn't know whether backup power would last until 10.30am.
