OYO Flagship 68832 S&h Residency

After I booked, they said the payment hadn’t gone through and told me to cancel so they could give me a room at double the price. This is my completely honest feedback. I was going elsewhere with an 8-year-old patient, and it was a pathetic experience. Please don’t book here. I’m writing this in tears. OYO should also be held responsible.

I used to suggest this place to patients coming from outside Odisha because it’s near my chamber. But even with an OYO booking made in advance, the hotel refused to honor it and said they had nothing to do with OYO. I complained to OYO, but the patients still had to pay more and stay there, Rs 1000 per day for an AC room. During their three-day stay, the rooms weren’t cleaned, and the AC switched itself off in the morning even though they were charged for it. The complimentary breakfast never came either. Often there was nobody at reception to help guests. For first-time visitors to Odisha, this gives a very poor impression. I won’t recommend the hotel again, and OYO’s customer service was shoddy too.

The reception staff were kind, and Jagan was especially friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit dirty and below standard, though, and there don’t seem to be enough cleaning staff to do the job properly.

Even though I’d booked and paid through Make my trip, the hotel calmly told me they were full and wouldn’t accept any online booking. I showed them my PNR, number, and room voucher, but they wouldn’t listen and denied me check-in. I was already exhausted and 14 km from the station. It was 6 P.M., and nearby hotels were full because of the crowds, so I had to book the same room offline at almost three times the price. One of my worst experiences.
