Himalaya Mount View Resort

The view is a clear 10/10, and the rooms are spacious. During my two-day stay, the staff were supportive, especially Ganga ji. He’s kind, full of real-life knowledge, an excellent climber, and a certified guide who has done almost all the major treks in India. He even cooks delicious food. I also enjoyed the free seasonal fruit: Malta with salt and chaat masala was simple but amazing. Rates change with the season, so call to check the current price. Off season should make the stay even better. The bathroom was about 6/10. There’s a shared restaurant area where you can work peacefully if it isn’t crowded. WiFi wasn’t very good, and phone reception was poor near the rooms. Also, this place isn’t suitable for elderly people who have trouble walking, so read the whole review before booking. The service was painfully slow, with requests taking ages and nothing happening on time. The rooms were dirty, towels old and smelly, and the bathroom looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in days. There was no proper cleaning, and the whole place seemed badly maintained. For the money, it wasn’t worth it at all. I’d avoid Himalayan Mount View Resort if you want a clean, comfortable stay. One of the worst places I’ve visited.

The mountain view from the room is just awesome, and the resort has spacious rooms and plenty of parking. Staff are polite and welcoming, and there are all kinds of food available. You can also play pool. Be sure to visit kausani tea estate and kausani shawl factory. If you love tea, pick up a packet of black long leaf tea.

It’s a peaceful spot away from city noise, a great place for an offbeat escape. The rooms are clean and roomy, the internet connection is good, and the staff are more than helpful. Food from the property tastes excellent.
