Sher Bengal River Resort

Our yearly college friends' get-together here was memorable, and we're definitely coming back with our families. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The large campus was kept in great shape, with lots of greenery, broad lawns, and a big pool with water rides. Food was delicious and healthy, and the staff were attentive and courteous. They arranged afternoon tea on the riverside deck and an evening snacks and drinks buffet by the poolside lawn. When we complained about mosquitoes, they intermittently used aerosol fumigation in the open areas, something I'd never experienced at another hotel or resort. A soulful live performance by the young, energetic singer Mr. Susanket Singha made the evening special. Ms. Kamalika Samanta, their corporate manager, personally kept an eye on every detail from booking to the end of our stay, so everything went smoothly.

The river-facing room had an amazing view, the rooms were neat and clean, and the public areas were beautifully decorated. Resort staff gave us a warm welcome, and the food was tasty. We especially liked the tandoori dishes, including haravara kabab, ckn seekh kabab, and fish tikka, as well as the Indian options katla kalia and sarse ilish. There was live music every day. Mr. Arup bhakta, who handled room service, was lovely and always had a sweet smile. I'd definitely visit again.

Sher Bengal River Resort, Kolaghat is a peaceful place to unwind by the river, and its rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. The food had great taste and variety. It seems suited to families, couples, or friends wanting time together. I'd recommend it for a Kolaghat weekend and would gladly return.

We had a really good stay, with a lovely atmosphere and great food. Mr. Arup Bhakta deserves special mention for supporting us throughout in every way he could. His polite manner and hospitality added something special to the experience. A good choice if you're planning to spend 1-2 days of quality time with people close to you.
