Saccharum Safari Lodge

The forest feeling starts right at the lodge, which sits in the tiger buffer zone, and the safari days were planned with real care. The timing and movement all felt considered, never rushed or random. What stayed with me most was the people’s knowledge and passion for wildlife, conservation, and the forest. They made us feel genuinely hosted. Vipin was a calm, knowledgeable naturalist who brought extra depth to our jungle outings. Wasim was patient and insightful, and clearly connected to the forest. The Chef’s food was comforting and memorable, while Pappu made every meal feel special with his warmth and attention in the dining area. We also fell for the four adorable dogs and, if you’re lucky, you might spot one of the elusive cats. Saccharum Safari Lodge is built around care and love for the wild. We’re definitely planning to return.

Even while relaxing at the lodge, surrounded by all that green, we felt as though we were in the core zone of the jungle. That atmosphere was the highlight of our family trip to Saccharum Safari Lodge last week for a tiger safari in Kanha. The meals were fresh and mouth-watering, the team took care of the safari logistics smoothly, and the hospitality made us feel completely at home. It’s a luxurious stay that still feels like a real wilderness experience. We’ll be back.

The safari arrangements were so smooth that the whole wildlife getaway felt stress-free. We also enjoyed fresh, homely, delicious food. Staff were warm, attentive, and always happy to help, and our clean, comfortable room was just right for relaxing.

Wasim and the team took great care of us, including pappu ji, sita, umesh, and everyone else. This is one of the best safari lodges I’ve visited.
