Hotel Bala Regency

The rooms were good and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful, but there were lots of tiny cockroaches that kept appearing. The stay was average for comfort. The restaurant was average too, though the food itself was pretty decent.

Food was one of the better parts of the stay. It tasted good and the quality was generally appreciated, but portions were small and the prices were high. The restaurant is attached to a bar, which may not feel fully family-friendly. The hotel is centrally located in Parvathi Nagar, Bellary, so getting around is convenient. Rooms are spacious, though their cleanliness and upkeep can be inconsistent, and some guests mention hygiene problems and worn facilities. Staff experiences vary too: some are polite and helpful, others have been described as rude or unresponsive. Early check-in often comes with an extra charge. It's basic comfort in a handy location, but the service can vary, and the food prices and small portions affect the value. It could work for a short stay if central access and tasty food matter to you.

I stayed on the 3rd floor, where there was Wi-Fi. The bath, AC, and TV all worked easily, and there was a cool reception area and a spa. Everything was neat, hygienic, and tidy. It's rare for me to be this pleased with everything in a hotel.

The food was on the better side, but the rest of the place needs attention. The lift and lobby both need an immediate makeover, and the rooms are outdated and dirty. Dust was everywhere, including on the air conditioner. The person at the front desk in the evening was rude and unprofessional, acting like it was his hotel and he was doing us a favor.
