Airavatha Residency

The room I booked online was a double king, but when I arrived, I was told that room type didn’t exist. They only had twin double rooms, and the taps and commode in the washrooms weren’t working. I had booked well in advance and simply lost my money. When I spoke to the receptionist and manager, they said they weren’t responsible for what was shown on the website. The booking options on the hotel’s site and partner sites like Cleartrip, Goibibo, and MakeMyTrip don’t match what they actually have. I was very disappointed by their rude behavior. Booking here felt like a big scam.

The room was spacious and clean, and being on the main road made getting around easy. They provided toiletries for all three of us, and the 24-hour checkout policy was a good thing. But the AC, TV, phone, and Wi-Fi in our room weren’t working, and the toilet seat wasn’t good.

There’s no restaurant, and though breakfast was included in my package, they refused to provide it because I was the only guest. The towels were like floor mops, and the bedsheets were torn and dirty. At night, if you come back late, there’s no guard to open the main gate, so you have to climb over to get in. The place felt spooky and haunted. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, absolutely not recommended.

The property has a party hall for small events and ample car parking, including an EV charger. It’s right by the main road. Rooms are spacious and good, but could use a little makeover, and the toilet and bathroom accessories need upgrading. The restaurant on site hasn’t operated since COVID. They arrange breakfast for resident guests, while lunch and dinner can be ordered through online delivery portals, which is allowed.
