Breeze Inn by OYO Rooms

I didn’t stay there myself, but heard about it from someone who did. The area is convenient, with plenty of places to eat nearby, and the rooms are good. Cleanliness could be better, though. Service is fine when you ask, but the staff aren’t very proactive. For a longer stay, guests shouldn’t have to request the same thing each day.

The manager’s response when I asked for a manual bill for my early check-in and late checkout was the worst part. I’d told them in advance that I needed the bill for a company seminar, and asked again at checkout. Since those charges needed a manual bill, I needed it for my expense submission. He rudely refused, saying he was the owner and that if I didn’t want to pay, that was up to me. I couldn’t believe he spoke to a customer that way. The regular bills came by email, but these two needed to be made manually. The room itself was awful too. The AC didn’t work, the bedsheet was badly stained, and there was no in-room safe. The TV was hanging on the wall and had no channels. I told the manager, but got no response. OYO is popular across India, and guests expect the experience that’s promised. Please don’t let operators like this damage the brand. I would have given this place zero stars if I could. It was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

There were cockroaches and other insects in the bathroom and on the bed. Water also stopped running in the bathrooms from 8 to 10:30 in the morning. We were checking out at 11, so it caused a lot of trouble. We complained more than five times, but staff didn’t seem to care since we’d already booked and paid the full amount through OYO. There was no parking for either two-wheelers or cars. The hotel staff told us to leave the vehicle on a nearby road and said they wouldn’t be responsible for loss or damage. They didn’t even try to arrange paid parking. The TV and AC did work properly.

The location worked well, especially if you need to catch a bus from Madiwala. The stay was good, and the rooms seemed clean, though they’re on the small side. It looks like a new hotel. There’s no restaurant, so plan ahead for food and bottled water. Breakfast wasn’t good, just tea and idli.
