The room was larger than what you usually get at this price, and the hotel sits right on the main road. We stayed while driving from Kerala toward Lepakshi temple and Puttaparthi. There’s no dedicated parking. We could use the space downstairs because the shop was shut for the weekend, but otherwise you’d have to leave the car on the roadside. The building is old and looks like it’s seen better days, with bathroom fittings that need replacing. Housekeeping was only average and needs a lot of improvement. The bedlinen and towels were just about bearable. The railway line is close by, so light sleepers might be woken. We were told the hot water runs on solar power and to let it run after using a couple of buckets, but it still wasn’t hot. That was a problem since we checked out early, around 0700.

We stayed for two days and found the staff and manager cooperative. It was convenient for us, especially because the hotel is on the main road, on the second floor, and close to BMSIT College.

I ended up staying here for two days. I couldn’t book online, so I called and arranged the room directly. There wasn’t a room available on Sunday, but they helped me freshen up and then allocated one. The staff and management were friendly.

The location works especially well for BMSIT, and having Restaurant Vishnu park right next door adds a lot. I spent a week in a family room on the first floor and was very satisfied with the room, cleanliness, and help from the staff. Mr. Chandru, Raju, and Ramesh from the service staff were all warm and supportive.
