CAPITAL O 432 Hotel Victoria Heights

After I arrived from Hyderabad for an office meeting, they refused my OYO booking and said the hotel was full. I'd called the manager the day before to ask about early check-in, but got no answer. I couldn't see any bikes or crowd there, so I questioned how it could be full. Then he offered a non-AC room if I paid 400 extra on top of the total, even though I'd booked an AC room. The person there shut the office door and left. That's rude, and people in business should show customers basic respect. They seem focused on money. If they were full, why accept the booking? I'll escalate this.

It's a lovely little budget place if you book early, with clean rooms in a quiet residential area. The staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi can lag, and you have to log in again after 24 hours or when the data runs out. The bathroom fittings could be better. You'll have to walk a little to reach the main road.

It's set inside a residential area, which won't suit everyone, but we liked the calm, quiet surroundings. The location is good, with a bus stop within walking distance. The rooms seemed good to me, though we were there only about two hours, so I can't really judge them. It feels more like a homestay than a hotel. If you want somewhere peaceful, this could work.

The room was quite small, though the helpful staff made up for that. On our first day the AC wasn't working, so we were moved to another room. Breakfast is complimentary, but it's just one item prepared in the hotel's small kitchen. The hotel is a little tucked away, so cab drivers can take a while to find it. If you're up for walking and want to shop, MG and Brigade Road are reachable on foot. 😉
