Capital O 5379 The Roy Grand Inns

Water was the main problem during my stay at The Roy Grand Inns, Bangalore. There wasn't a proper supply when needed, which made things very inconvenient and uncomfortable. The room was poor and the basic facilities weren't maintained properly, especially for the price. Management seemed careless, and the staff didn't help resolve the issue. It was a frustrating stay, and I wouldn't recommend The Roy Grand Inns for a comfortable visit to Bangalore.

There were bed bugs, and even after one of us got bitten, the hotel did nothing to help. The lifts weren't working either, and without hot water, two children fell ill. When we spoke to Rahul from management, he was very rude and asked whether he had money to make the payment. One of the worst hotels to stay in.

For my needs, the hotel worked out fine, and the room was pretty good for the price. The location is the best part. They could put a little money into cleaning, though: there were cobwebs on the window panes and mosquitoes in the evening. I asked someone at the hotel for mosquito repellent, the "Good night" kind, but it never arrived. I checked out at night, so it wasn't much of an issue. The kitchen food was decent for this price range, where you can't expect too much. I'd rate it 3.5.

The room was filthy and hadn't been cleaned properly, and the hot water came out discolored. This was a terrible stay. It didn't seem like a suitable place for a visit with family or friends, and felt more geared toward romantic stays. Avoid it.
