Casa Cottage

We stayed for two nights and would come back to Casa Cottage whenever we're in Bangalore. It's tucked into a quiet corner right in the heart of the city. From booking with Mr. Lazar onward, everything went well. The rooms are clean, neat, and functional, with the basic necessities, and there’s a good breakfast spread. Lazar, Nagaraj, Raj, and the rest of the excellent staff took care of our needs.

The garden is colourful and welcoming, and the guest house itself is a great place to stay. Our rooms were a good size, though the floor could have used a clean. Breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The morning waiter was cheerful and engaging, and the managers had good restaurant suggestions. It's peaceful down a lane away from busy roads, but getting to the city sights is a bit of a hike. Convenience shops and an upmarket supermarket are just a short walk away. We'd definitely return if we get the chance.

I was cycling out of Bengaluru and the garden was useful for putting my bike together. The hotel also kindly stored my non-cycling luggage and bike bag until I got back. It's a great small hotel, with friendly, helpful management and staff. The rooms are basic but spacious, and some have terraces. Everyone can use the garden and dining area at any time, since they're available 24 hours. There are good restaurants nearby, and if you don't feel like going out, the management can arrange a takeaway delivered to the hotel. Breakfasts are good.

The staff are welcoming and helpful, and I thought the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a cozy, warm Airbnb in Richmond Town of Bengaluru that's popular with both domestic and international travellers. The price is on the higher side, but still worth taking a chance on.
