Collection O Victorian Comforts

I left after about five minutes because the bathroom was filthy and stained, with no soap, toilet paper, or anything else. The rooms don’t match the photos. They’re old, grimy, and clearly not maintained. I couldn’t unlock the door myself because the key was stuck; a hotel worker forced it open, and apparently I was expected to do that every time. They may also ask for an advance payment. I did, and they didn’t return it. Horrible stay.

OYO’s sign is outside on the street and there’s even a notice inside reception saying OYO customers won’t be given rooms. My booking through OYO wasn’t as advertised, including the promised complimentary breakfast, which they didn’t provide. The management doesn’t seem to follow OYO’s terms or deliver the facilities listed on the app. 😢

We arrived at around 2 a.m. and the manager refused to give us a room, saying none were available. We’d booked through an OYO representative under Mahesh, paid the full fare before check-in, and had confirmation CSJ14531 for Sat, Sep 28, 2024. Calling OYO for help got us nowhere, and they couldn’t provide a room or a refund. Don’t pay in advance, because you may not get it back from OYO. Very bad experience, and OYO has already lost its brand name.

A budget-friendly stay, and the staff were polite. The room was clean, though it could use a little more upkeep. The bathroom was neat too, but not quite up to modern standards. There were stain marks on top of the sink, which didn’t look good.
