The room sizes were decent, the location was accessible, and room service staff responded when asked. That’s about all the good I can say. The hotel feels more like a PG, and reception says they’re sorry or will look into issues, but doesn’t seem to care. Construction noise starts around 9 every morning, making it hard to sleep or work. Avoid booking until February-March 2025, when the work may be done. The noise can give you a headache. Water can go out at any time, and you have to ask for cleaning because it won’t happen on its own. They don’t provide a complimentary water bottle in the room, you’re expected to collect one from reception. Complaints aren’t taken seriously. Wi-Fi fails about 80% of the time. I’d read reviews about this and thought it might be a one-off, but it wasn’t. Phone network is also often unavailable. TVs don’t work. You have to ask them to connect the set-top box, then they may tell you the TV is broken. Breakfast is the same basic spread each day: bread with butter or jam, tea or coffee, fruit juice, one North Indian item and one South Indian item. Don’t expect more.

The location was good and the breakfast I got was decent. Everything else about this stay was awful. I trusted Treebo because I’d had decent, affordable stays at their hotels in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore, and elsewhere, but this was my worst hotel experience so far. It felt like a shared PG, with renovations making so much noise I couldn’t sleep. The sheets, towels, and pillows were dirty. The toilets were old and in bad shape, and hot water only came sometimes. My room, 101, was tiny, barely enough space for a table or chair to eat. The TV remote didn’t work. When I turned on the AC, I started coughing badly, and the fan was so loud it sounded like a rice mill. There was almost no phone signal in the room, maybe two or three bars on Airtel and none on Jio. The Wi-Fi was very slow and stopped working when two people connected in the same room. I was only there for one night and left as soon as I could the next morning.

The place had a homely feel as soon as I arrived, and I had a wonderful stay. The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the services were prompt and efficient. I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, welcoming visit.

The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, but my experience living here matched the negative reports I’d heard. Room conditions were poor, with ongoing cleanliness problems, bed bugs, and ugly stains. These issues really affected the quality of life here. Management needs to address them so residents can have a more comfortable place to stay.
