Elegant Guest House

The rooms were untidy, the bed filthy, and the whole place stank. The Indian-style restrooms had no flush and no hot water. There was no mirror in the room, no towel provided, and water leaked from the walls and taps. It felt like traveling back to the 18th century. Staying here at night is a risk, though if you don’t mind being alone, you’ll have insects for company. Worst check-in of my life.

The location is decent, but the staff’s behavior was terrible and the rooms were in awful condition. The beds had bugs, and the place had no facilities or services to speak of. They didn’t even change the bed or pillow covers, and soap and towels weren’t provided. I wouldn’t bring my family here, and honestly, it’s hard to imagine anyone staying comfortably. Avoid booking this hotel.

This is one of the cheapest lodges in Bangalore at this price, so it may suit bachelors or travelers looking for a low-cost stay. It’s not suitable for families, though. During my stay, the TV didn’t work, the locks were broken until I asked for them to be replaced, and the power went out several times at night.

The reception staff were rude and seemed to know very little about their own guest house. The service was pathetic, the worst I’ve had. I gave it one star only because that was the lowest rating and I wanted to leave a comment. Don’t stay here. Spend a little more somewhere else for better service.
