The manager brushed off my complaint by saying Bangalore is full of cockroaches. I stayed for two days near Majestic because I thought the location would make for a decent stay, but the room was full of them. They were even under the bedsheet and crawling across the bed. I called reception in the night and got no response, so I slept with a towel over my whole head to keep them out of my ears and nose. When I raised it with the manager the next day, he acted unconcerned. He said he didn't have money for pesticide cleaning and kept talking nonsense. The experience was traumatic. They should rename the place Cockroach Comforts. If you can sleep alongside cockroaches, go ahead; if you're fed up with life and want to kill cockroaches, choose this room.

The bathroom light didn't work, and it took several follow-ups before anyone fixed it. The manager kept calling to ask for details he already had, and the receptionist behaved rudely because I'd complained to Goibibo. Terrible, unprofessional service. I won't book here again.

The hotel is in a handy Majestic location, near the bus stand, railway station, and city bus terminus, and the rent is reasonable. The room and bathroom were clean; the reception staff were courteous and knew their job. Service requests were dealt with quickly. The cable TV and color screen were good quality, though the bedsheets, rug, and dustbin need improvement.

There were lots of cockroaches in the room, and the cupboard and drawers were very dirty. At least the beds were fine to sleep in, and the hot water worked well.
