Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall- An Accor Hotels Brand

The spa was the best part of our four-night stay, with highly professional service that was genuinely relaxing. The lobby and reception looked luxurious, and the staff were friendly and polite throughout. But the hotel is very expensive, and the overall experience didn't justify what we paid. Not worth the money. We had trouble with the room from the start. The coffee machine was damaged and only replaced after we complained. The kettle and related items looked very old, with visible white dirt or stains. Though spacious and well furnished, the room wasn't properly maintained and felt old for a 5-star property. Only one set of accessories, such as bathrobes and slippers, was provided at first, so we had to ask for more. Their new “sustainability” concept felt more like cost-cutting than guest comfort. Housekeeping manager Babita entered our room to leave a welcome note after we'd put out the DND tag. That felt intrusive and unprofessional, especially as the note should have been there before check-in. A staff member walked down the corridor in heels, making loud noise every day and spoiling the peaceful atmosphere. We also asked for luggage help at checkout, but nobody came, so we moved it ourselves. Food prices were another disappointment. Two restaurant omelettes came to around ₹1900 even with a 25% discount, with one omelette costing around ₹14xx. If you're paying for yourself, you'd be better off eating outside the hotel.

The restaurant service and food made our two days especially lovely. Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous spread, spot-on flavors, and quality and consistency that showed the kitchen team cared. Pemmila and Gyate looked after us at breakfast and other meals. They were warm, attentive and genuinely hospitable, always courteous and smiling, and took care of everything without hovering. Our room was spacious, comfortable, calm and beautifully maintained, just right for unwinding after a long day. The whole hotel felt elegant and premium from the moment we walked in. The staff were professional, polite and focused on guests. Grand really suits the scale, ambience and way people are treated here. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we left with lovely memories. We'd happily return and recommend it.

We stayed for almost the whole month, and my family loved it. The location worked perfectly for me, and the place felt like home. The staff were friendly and considerate, which was the best part. By the time we moved out, our kids knew everyone by name.

The event at Grand Mercure, Gopalan Mall was beautifully organized, with smooth coordination from start to finish. The hospitality, ambience, food and service were all wonderful. Thanks to the whole team for making this special occasion so lovely. Highly recommended for celebrations and events.
