For just a day or two, this works as a budget stay. We stayed 25 days using a 60% off coupon, and the service wasn't good over that longer period. Even when we handed over the keys and asked, they often didn't clean the room. They did provide idli for breakfast every day.
It was dark, dingy, and extremely old, nothing like the pictures. Only one small white CFL worked even though there were other light fixtures, and they didn't repair the others when I asked. The taps didn't work either. The staff were very incompetent, and the place wasn't worth the money.
The staff were polite and the room was good, but they left the water problem unresolved for three days despite my repeated requests.
The rooms are massive, the biggest I've stayed in so far, and the staff are polite and well mannered. It's a little way inside, but still close to the main road. The rooms are a bit dusty.
Friendly staff and a good locality. The room is fine, though the washroom fittings aren't very impressive.
