A very clean hotel with a nostalgic feel. Everyone was friendly and obliging, from the manager and front office to the waiters and cleaners. Good food and a mart are both within walking distance.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, and a squeaky fan kept us awake all night. The staff were courteous, and the location is good, not far from Church Street. Still, it was a below average stay.

The rooms are old, though they are well maintained. I liked the very good location, friendly staff, and good service. The buffet breakfast was awesome.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location is a real plus, close to Brigade Road, M G Road, and St Patrick's Church. We stayed with family recently and had a pleasant time. The rooms were good.
