Hotel O Home Mishra Suites

We booked 10 rooms for a short refreshment stay from 5.30AM to 9AM, at Rs.1,300 per room, so the total was Rs.13,000. Before booking, we inspected a model room that had all the amenities, but the actual stay was a nightmare. We’d travelled about 550km, and there was no water or geyser. The lobbyist didn’t respond, went into his room and locked the door while we kept knocking. He eventually said the water would come, then locked himself in again. About 1hr later, there was still no water. People had to change without bathing and go to the function, and some women and children went to the function home to bathe. It was a waste of money. This hotel is filthy, poorly managed, and needs to improve its cleanliness. I’ve never seen such a disgusting place. Booking sites like oyo should remove it or risk damaging their image.

There’s no maintenance at all. The rooms smelled terrible, the sheets were stained, the pillows were dirty, and the taps were broken. There’s plenty more that could make a stay “memorable.” They’d be better off closing the hotel.

The toilet was broken, with the flush tank hanging unsupported, and there was no water or working geyser. The TV didn’t work either. Management said a customer had taken the remote and left. The place was hard to find, and you have to climb a ladder to reach it. The room didn’t match the photos, smelled strongly of cigarettes, and had dirty sheets. It looked as if someone had checked out just 10 minutes before we arrived. Nothing was working, and the pungent smell wasn’t dealt with. We were stuck there because it was already late, but checked out early the next morning and won’t return. Booking sites should thoroughly check room and amenity photos before approving them. It was a terrible experience.

I booked 10 rooms for 8 days in May-Jun 2023 and paid 15000₹ in advance. In the end, I could only recover that amount by staying in 3 rooms. The rooms and linens were dirty, there were no towels or toiletries, and the bathroom was in awful condition. The flush and washbasin tap didn’t work. There’s no vehicle parking, so you have to leave your vehicle at the roadside at your own risk. There was no power backup, and the staff and owner weren’t cooperative. Don’t book through Oyo app. This was a terrible stay. People who say it’s awesome must mean awesome in the worst way.
