The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the bathroom was dirty, and the cupboards were broken and left that way. The TV didn’t work either. Poor upkeep and cleanliness made the stay very disappointing, and the property felt neglected and well below acceptable hospitality standards.
For what I paid, this was not worth it. The rooms were dirty and badly maintained, and the services advertised online didn’t match what I actually got. Staff were slow to respond, and basic cleanliness was lacking. My stay at Super Hotel O, Hosur Road near PES University was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, hygienic stay.
I booked for 23 hours but couldn’t manage to stay even six. It was suffocating inside, and the hospitality was zero. I asked for an empty glass to take tablets with water, and they refused. The TV was just for show and didn’t work; the washroom was unhygienic, and other guests were saying there was no water in the toilet. It’s the worst experience I’ve had. Please don’t book here.
The photos were misleading, and after a late-night check-in the room felt especially claustrophobic. It was tiny, had hardly any airflow, and there was no AC, though I’d understood AC was included when I booked. The setup was basic and uncomfortable, especially after a long journey. When I complained, staff said, “This is what we have,” asked me to pay extra for a better room, then showed me another room that was exactly the same. They weren’t cooperative, and OYO support couldn’t be reached at the time. Not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re tired, travelling alone, or just expecting basic comfort. Avoid it and save your money, sleep, and sanity.
The room was a cramped little space with two small beds pushed together, no blanket or bedsheet, a stained bed cover, an unclean toilet, and no AC. I left within an hour and asked for a refund, but they refused. Since I’d paid through their scanner instead of OYO, I couldn’t file a complaint through the app. I first visited Bangalore on this trip and had booked through OYO. I reached at 9 am, though check-in was at noon, and asked for early access. They initially said no rooms were free. Then the receptionist, who was from North India, offered a room if I paid using their UPI scanner instead of the OYO app. I declined, but they kept pushing me to pay through the scanner. On the fourth try, the receptionist called a supervisor, who said OYO might take 10 days to pay them, and that I could go ahead if I trusted them. I did, paid via the scanner, and was shown the room. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend the place. My friend booked the same hotel, was promised early check-in, and had the same bad-room experience. It seems to be happening to everyone who books here. People coming to Bangalore Electronic City may be drawn by the good Google and OYO reviews, but don’t choose it or you’ll be in trouble. Bad rooms, bad staff, and a terrible experience. Please skip this fraudulent hotel.
