The room was tidy and everything was in place, but the window area was covered with cardboard.

We paid at the property. There was no food there, though an inexpensive hotel is nearby, and the metro station is within walking distance. The rooms cost ₹1000 for two people, which felt like good value and was the cheapest price I found in central Bangalore. They were a little dusty but safe, and we were able to study without any disturbance. There were eight of us, all girls. The owner was very kind, welcomed us with a warm smile, and suggested restaurants and nearby places. Everyone there speaks Hindi, and the owner can speak English too. They may look dangerous or something, but they never bothered us.
