Hotel U T Elegance Bangalore

Hotel UT Elegant didn’t live up to its name. The rooms were filthy and smelled of stale smoke, and the AC barely worked. Staff were rude and indifferent, and seemed bothered whenever I asked for anything. For such a high price, this place is a dump. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The dinner they served was the one thing that didn’t disappoint, though even that seemed very unhygienic. The rest of the stay was very disappointing: the room was meant to have air conditioning, but the AC didn’t work. Bathrooms stank, every room had cockroaches, and the bedsheets were stained and the floor dirty. The kitchen looked extremely filthy.

The room was good and the location worked well for tourists. Food was fair, but room service was bad. Staff came into my room when I wasn’t there, which made me worry about the security of my belongings.

The hotel's location was the one positive for us. We booked a Deluxe Room through Agoda for one night, and the booking listed AC, but staff said on arrival that our room had none. Agoda still showed AC among the features when I checked again, so I can't tell whether the listing or the hotel gave us the wrong information. The same confusion came up with checkout: Agoda said noon, while staff told us 11:00 AM. Our room was near the restaurant, and when I looked into the kitchen that evening, it seemed unhygienic and in very poor condition. The bedsheet also hadn't been washed. The TV didn't work; staff came to look but didn't fix it. Front desk and kitchen staff behaved unprofessionally, as though we were staying for free. With all these problems, I wouldn't recommend it. If you have another option, go there.
