The location made getting around Bengaluru easy. There are lots of local stores nearby for groceries, and Uber can get you out to explore and back at the end of the day. One thing to know, the hotel is on the SECOND floor (2nd floor), so take the lift up to the reception desk to check in. I stayed here for a long time, and the service was what really made the place for me. They offer laundry, room cleaning, and food cooked and brought right to your room, which made daily life comfortable and easy. The hotel is nicely decorated, though I wish the rooms had a refrigerator or somewhere cold to keep food from expiring. A common room would be a nice addition. The receptionists and staff were a big highlight. They’re formal in their work but still easy to talk to, even if you’re a foreigner. I especially appreciated Mr. Preshant, who speaks fluent English and has such a charming personality that chatting with him feels like talking to a longtime friend. I admire his character and hope future hotel receptionists I meet are like him. The other receptionists were also approachable and happy to suggest local tourist spots. All the staff were attentive, hardworking, welcoming, and professional, so a big thank you to them for doing their jobs so well. The morning buffet is another option, with a good range of Indian breakfast food. The dining area feels welcoming and gives you a chance to try different dishes and see what suits your taste. I’m cautious about unfamiliar food, and eating here gave me the confidence to try more of what India has to offer. I’d recommend Earth Hotel to anyone new to Bengaluru, India, who wants a comfortable place to come back to and rest after a tiring day.
