Hotel White Rock

The executive room’s balcony door wouldn’t latch, and the hygiene was terrible. Staff wouldn’t accept an advance for food, insisting we pay after each dish instead of putting the room and food on one bill. They said a combined invoice could cause audit problems, though I don’t understand how. Breakfast came at 9 am, with cold idlis and pooris and sweetish sambar. The chutney was an awful paste, there was no jam, and the toaster looked ancient and rusty. Neither the F&B manager nor the GM was available to speak with us. The front office lady was patronising too. This was the most pathetic service I’ve experienced.

I was very happy with my four-night stay at Hotel White Rock in Banashankari. The vegetarian meals at Antra were the best food I had there. I also tried the drinks and food at Secret Sip Resto Bar, which were good, though I preferred Antra. There was a small billing discrepancy at the bar, but Sunanda, the bar and store manager-in-charge, sorted it quickly. I’m willing to believe it was an honest mistake. Sangeetha, the manager, thoughtfully upgraded me to a larger room at no extra cost. The staff were courteous, from the vehicle security guard to housekeeping, and my room was consistently cared for. They proactively replenished water, shampoo, moisturizer, and dental kits. Thanks as well to Arindam, Krushna, Sudip, Savita K, the housekeeping manager, and her team for making the stay so pleasant. I’d gladly choose Hotel White Rock again when I visit Bangalore.

The breakfast was unlimited and wonderful, and the food tasted like it was made with care. The staff are kind and treat residents like family. It feels very luxurious without being expensive. Service this good is hard to find in Banglore these days.

We stayed with family and were very happy. The breakfast was great, the location suited us well, and the hotel is managed well. Staff were helpful, professional, and courteous, and they dealt with issues right away. Ms.Sangeetha deserves a special mention for going the extra mile to look after guests.
