The staff were polite and courteous, but the manager needs better training in dealing with customers. The breakfast should be improved, with fruit options like banana and watermelon, and service could be quicker. The reception should be kept clean, and soiled beds shouldn't be left lying around. Food left on plates also needs to be cleared from the alleys overnight.
The rooms looked fairly clean, but the bathrooms weren't, and they didn't provide drinking water. I was pregnant and asked for an extra pillow, but they refused without taking my situation into account. It was a bad stay, and I wouldn't recommend this place.
The staff were pleasant, though I felt they could be a bit more professional. The room was in excellent condition, neat, and came with a kitchen and balcony. It felt like home, and there are good restaurants nearby, including a hotel serving Kerala-style food.
We expected a quiet retreat, but after paying cash for our two-night OYO booking, we were told to leave after the first night because Saturday was apparently a holiday for the hotel. The manager took my phone and asked to change the booking to one night, so it would look as if we had made the change ourselves. Too bad we chose this place.
My friend booked a week ahead, but when he arrived the hotel refused to check him in, saying it no longer worked with Oyo or other online hotel partners. They hadn't told him about the cancellation or offered a refund, so he was left stranded. The staff were very rude and kept telling him to contact Oyo. This place caused a lot of hassle, and I wouldn't choose it.
