New Light Executive Rooms

I paid for a room through MMT in advance, but ended up leaving without checking in because of the night staff's disrespectful behavior and the hotel's inflexible policy. I don't think it's suitable for working employees. I arrived at noon on the 22nd. The receptionist politely explained that check-in was at 1 PM, which I understood, so I left my luggage and went out for office field work. After a hectic day of travel and work, I got back around 11:30 PM. My college friend Ramesh was nearby waiting for a bus, so I invited him in for a ten-minute visit. I told the staff clearly that he'd leave within ten minutes, but the night staff were rude and demanded an extra ₹500. There was no empathy or basic courtesy toward a tired guest who had already paid. If he had stayed the night, I was ready to pay the required charge. But asking ₹500 for a short meeting, even for using the washroom, was unacceptable. Even corporate offices and branded showrooms let visitors use washrooms without treating them this way, while this hotel charges for basic human needs. The staff were unprofessional and disrespectful, so I chose not to stay despite having paid. In my opinion, this hotel isn't suitable for working professionals or anyone expecting basic respect and understanding. I strongly don't recommend it.

The best part was breakfast from Udupi Café, right beside the hotel. We chose the breakfast plan and got coupons for a South Indian platter, a filling meal with khichdi, sambar, idli, vada, masala dosa, and sheera. It was absolutely delicious. The nearby café is handy for food lovers. The location made getting around easy, with the bus stand and railway station within walking distance. RK Pura Metro Station is right outside, and the hotel is right there when you step out. I stayed yesterday with office colleagues. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had a nice view. Everything looked so fresh it felt like the hotel had just been built, though it was built in 2024. Staff were polite, courteous, and helpful throughout. We had a memorable stay, and the cleanliness, food, and convenient location made it fantastic. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

There isn't an in-house restaurant, despite what was advertised. Breakfast comes from a nearby Udupi restaurant, but the food was disappointing. It's not a buffet, and the ₹100 limit is impractical because most items cost more than that. The booking site photos suggesting there is a restaurant are misleading.

After a long journey, arriving here felt awful. There's nothing premium or decent about Treebo premium light suits at KR PURAM. The receptionist was extremely rude and uncultured, raising her voice when we asked about ID. Hotels usually guide guests politely on these things, but her behavior made the place unacceptable for us to stay. We raised it with the so-called manager, who was just as terrible and backed his staff without considering our complaint. They have zero customer care etiquette.
