New SV Suites by OYO Rooms

The rooms were spacious and well furnished, but the AC didn’t work, and we had to move again to the adjacent room. They first made us shift, with our heavy luggage, to another building instead of SV Suites because the rooms there were small and insufficient. Then we waited about an hour at reception for the new room to be cleaned. They asked us to give them a 5 rating, but we were confused about whether to rate the building we stayed in or SV Suites, where we had booked but not stayed. The location is good, quiet, and green, though service wasn’t good. There’s no food provided, so you have to go at least half a kilometer to get something or arrange delivery from a restaurant.

After booking and paying online, you may still be asked for more money here. Be ready to pay extra or spend hours talking to customer care, who may eventually cancel and promise a refund. You’ll be stuck dealing with it, and no one can help. Take care.

The sheets, quilts, and pillows were filthy and torn, and the place wasn’t worth staying in. I booked 15 days but checked out eight days early, and the owner refused to return the balance. I was given a room without a toilet and had to use a shared one. Oyo customer service was awful too: they left me on hold for hours instead of helping, then disconnected. I ended up paying more than twice what the property was worth. A bad experience with both Oyo and the property.

We came from Chennai for a wedding. The road and surroundings are nice, but it’s hard to find the lodge from the main road, and it’s in an isolated residential area. It’s an apartment used as a lodge, suited to a family of up to six. The rooms are cramped, though the hall has good space, and there’s a kitchen room. The TV and AC in the rooms didn’t work, but the geyser did. There’s no free breakfast, Wi-Fi is limited, and guest parking is very restricted: only three cars fit inside, while others have to park on the road.
