OYO 13170 Sky Suites

The AC started dripping water into the room, so we had to switch it off. I'd never seen a split AC pour water like that, and otherwise we might have woken up surrounded by it. The sheets looked dirty, and there was no drinking water in the room. Towels were missing too; I only got them after going to reception. Nothing about the stay was good.

After our long flight from Guwahati, we arrived at 2:30pm needing to rest, but the rooms weren't ready even though check-in was at noon. The receptionist first said they still needed cleaning, then argued when we asked why it hadn't been done earlier. He later said the hotel was overbooked and our rooms had been given to someone else. We were told to find another hotel because everything was booked, and he shouted at my father, who was exhausted after leaving Guwahati at 8:30 am. The whole experience was awful, and I was shocked by the receptionist's behavior. We'd booked two rooms for four days through OYO.

The room door still had no lock on my third day, and the WiFi only showed up that day because it hadn't been working. There was no room service, and no restaurant nearby. The bathroom looked as if it had never been cleaned, and the curtains were dusty. Since nobody came to replace the yellow-stained sheets and pillowcases after I arrived, a day late for my nearly 20-day booking, I had to sleep on my own bedding. We refused to pay, but the manager had no real explanation or solution. He just promised to fix things and asked us to pay anyway. It was ridiculous. Next time I'd rather spend an extra 10,000 Rs for a hotel with better service. One bad stay is enough to put me off returning.

The staff were rude, and complaints went nowhere. Our room's AC wasn't working, and they didn't provide towels or soap. I've never had service this bad at any OYO hotel.
